We worked closely with the team at Seahorse and North Technology Group to put together this article which focusses on the challenges we have faced with the increasing loads on rigging hardware due to structured luff sail technology advancements. With loads on deck and rig hardware significantly increasing, we discuss how we have developed our hardware, such as Forward Locks, Headboard Cars and Traveller Cars, to cope with these loads while remaining lightweight and low friction.
