Twin Pawl Automatic Locking Headboard Car

Our range of Locking Headboard Cars includes a Twin Pawl option when a bolt rope track section is required. This car used the same automatic locking mechanism as our standard Automatic Locking Headboard Car but instead of the locoking pawl being located on the track centre line, they are located on either side. These locking pawls then engage in simple seats installed into the mast wall. The deisgn of the locking mechanism, car and locking cartridge is consistent throughout our range brining the added comfort of a proven track record.

Key Design Features

• Unique self-lock mechanism (on the automatic self-locking model only)
• Aluminium carriage with independent titanium locking cartridge for simple servicing
• Titanium cartridge carries all the vertical load, reducing track levering
• Pawls work together, no master or slave, and both are rated to MWL for extra redundancy in the car
• Pawl profile ensures that it is impossible to false lock on fastener holes in track
• Safety system to allow triggers to be disengaged independently from trip line
• Either external or internal trip line can be used with unique activator box (on the semi-automatic models)
